Monday

A lunchtime departure direct to our hotel, arriving mid-afternoon. Relax into our new surroundings and enjoy a drinks reception before our evening candlelit dinner in the Vine Restaurant.

Tuesday

We set off this morning to Wells. This lovely city offers something for everyone - explore the lovely cathedral and Vicars Close - the oldest continuously inhabited medieval street in Europe. Later, we continue via Glastonbury to Street visiting the popular Clarks Village. Dinner at our hotel is followed by live musical entertainment.

Wedensday

A Continental breakfast is served today, to keep your appetite for today's special lunch. Enjoy a morning stroll around the grounds before mulled wine and canapés at 12.00 noon. 7-course traditional Christmas lunch. Relax over tea and cake as we watch the Kings Speech. In the evening a 2-course buffet supper is served with wine from the hotel's own vineyard. Evening at leisure.

Thursday

No visit to the area would be complete without a visit to the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. Enjoy some free time in the morning before visiting the Theatre Royal Bath, for the afternoon performance of 'Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs' (Please note a packed lunch will be provided). Tea and Homemade cakes await us on our return to the hotel. Boxing Day Gala Dinner with pianist entertainment.

Friday

Departing after breakfast, we return home during the early afternoon.

3* Best Western Leigh Park, Bradford-on-Avon

This wonderful Grade II listed building is a Georgian Country House retreat, set in 5 acres of landscaped grounds within a walled garden and the hotel’s own Vineyards overlooking the picturesque Wiltshire Downs on the outskirts of Bradford-on-Avon. Restaurant and bar/lounge.

Mobility Grade: 2. The locality is reasonably level. 2 steps to main entrance with isolated stairs and steps throughout the hotel. No lift but rooms are mainly on ground & first floor only. A few rooms may be allocated in the adjacent Coach House, a few steps from the main building.
