Falmouth has a marvellous harbour for a range of boats from yachts to large ocean-going ships, overlooked by Pendennis Castle. Along the main high street there are quaint old shops standing beside famous stores, and as you walk along you will catch glimpses of the colourful harbour through the picturesque alleyways.

Sunday

After being collected from your home, we travel to Falmouth with comforts stops as required and a main stop for lunch before arriving late afternoon with time to relax before dinner.

Monday

A day in Falmouth today. After your full breakfast we shall transfer you to the town quay where we have arranged for a river cruise charter with commentary exploring the beautiful scenery and wildlife along the Fal River (Light Refreshments Included). In the afternoon there will be free time to explore the town.

Tuesday

This morning we visit The Eden Project. Dubbed the Eighth Wonder of the World by some, the Eden Project is a dramatic global garden housed in tropical biomes that nestle in a crater the size of 30 football pitches. More than just a huge, tropical garden, Eden is a gateway into the relationships between plants and people, and a fascinating insight into the story of mankind's dependence on plant life. Even if you've visited before, the plants, exhibits and events programme change every season and every year.

Wednesday

After breakfast we travel to St Erth where we board the local train for the short journey to St Ives. Here we discover one of Cornwall's best loved resorts with its cobbled streets, winding alleyways, historic harbour and quaint fisherman's cottages. A mecca for artists for many years, the town is home to the Tate Gallery St. Ives.

Thursday

After breakfast we depart our hotel, returning home in the afternoon.
