Day 1
We journey north arriving at our
hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2
We head into Speyside to beautiful Ballindalloch Castle, one of the finest surviving castles. We have a free flow visit and there is also time to explore the gardens. In the afternoon we visit Rothiemuchus Estate, where
we have the services of a ranger to accompany us on a coach safari to get the best views of the estate. There will be opportunities to get close to the resident highland cattle and beautiful red deer.
Day 3
Enjoy a ride on the Strathspey Railway before visiting the Highland Folk Museum, where we see how Highland people lived and worked from the 1700’s through to the 1950’s.
Day 4
This morning, we travel to Inverness Marina for a 75-minute guided wildlife cruise between the Beauly Firth and Inverness Firth. After our cruise we head to Inverness, for free time in the ‘Capital of the Highlands’.
Day 5
A day at leisure in Grantown-on-
Spey.
Day 6
Homeward bound.

The hotel has 50 en-suite bedrooms, all with tea and coffeemaking facilities, toiletries, hair dryer, colour TV and direct dial phone and three fully accessible enabled rooms for disabled guests. All facilities in the Grant Arms Hotel are wheelchair accessible. The hotel has a lift.
