Banqueting House & Covent Garden

Join us for a special day trip to the magnificent Banqueting House as this historic London landmark welcomes visitors once again after being closed for extensive renovations and essential maintenance since June 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity to step inside one of the most remarkable surviving parts of the old Palace of Whitehall and experience a building steeped in royal history, art and architecture.

 

The day also includes time to enjoy lunch and free time in Covent Garden before making our way to Banqueting House in the afternoon. Visitors can admire the breathtaking Rubens ceiling, discover the grandeur of Inigo Jones’ design and enjoy the benefits of the building’s careful restoration, including improved access and renewed interiors. Whether you are interested in British history, iconic London sights or simply fancy a memorable day out, this itinerary promises a fascinating and enjoyable visit.

Arrive Covent Garden: 11:00

Depart Banqueting House: 16:30
