Monday

Travelling east, we make our
way to our hotel in Old Hunstanton for
our 4-night stay.

Tuesday

We travel to the world-famous
Lavender Fields and discover the great
tradition of English Lavender growing. We
take a tour in our coach through the local
villages and finding out about some of
the local lore and legends. We continue
to the historic village of Walsingham,
famed for its religious shrines and a major
pilgrimage centre since medieval times.

Wednesday

Enjoy a north Norfolk tour
and take in the miles of unspoilt
countryside as we drive to Holt from
where we board the North Norfolk
Line Railway for a one-way journey to
Sheringham where we have free time to explore. From here e visit the coastal
resort Cromer for a leisurely afternoon
by the sea.

Thursday

This morning we make the
journey to Holkham Hall an 18thcentury Palladian style house, based on
designs by William Kent and built by
Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester.
The current Earl and his family still
reside here and have opened their
doors to showcase their treasures.
Including Thomas’s landscape painting
collection, sculptures, antiques,
tapestries, and a library featuring over
10.000 rare books. In the grounds,
there is a historic walled garden to
stroll around.

Homeward Bound.
