This tour takes us on a discovery of Lincolnshire’s outstanding landscape of rolling hills, hidden valleys, gentle streams and pretty villages. We also dip into some of Lincolnshire’s most beautiful houses and gardens.

Sunday

We head to Barnsdale
Gardens, created and made famous
by gardener Geoff Hamilton and the
BBC programme Gardeners World,
before continuing to our hotel for
our 4-night stay.

Monday

We drive to the historic City
of Lincoln with its magnificent
cathedral. First, we meet our guide for
a familiarisation tour of the city on the
coach, and later in the day we enjoy a
guided tour of the Cathedral.

Tuesday

This morning we call at the
beautiful town of Stamford, before
visiting Burghley House, a 13,000-acre
working estate on the outskirts of
Stamford.

Wednesday

We visit Springfields
Garden Centre at Spalding before
continuing to Belton House (NT), the perfect English country house, set
in its own deer park.

Thursday

Homeward bound.
