Monday

Departing from Henley we
travel north to Newcastle, arriving late
afternoon at Copthorne Hotel. For our
4-night stay.

Tuesday

Today we take the road north,
past Blyth and Ashington, to Amble,
Warkworth and historic Alnwick. We
visit the magnificent Alnwick Castle,
home to the Duke of Northumberland
family dating back to 1309.

Wednesday

The day is yours to explore
and enjoy Newcastle. Just a short walk
along the quayside from your hotel is
the Millennium ‘Winking Eye’ bridge and
Newcastle’s famous quayside. Enjoy a
riverside stroll before maybe enjoying
lunch in a quayside pub, or take a walk
into the city centre for lunch and some
retail therapy in Eldon Square shopping
centre.

Thursday

Today we head to Bamburgh,
with its mighty castle and beautiful
coastline. We enjoy a break here where
you can explore and enjoy lunch,
before we head South to Seahouses
for time this afternoon.

Friday

After breakfast we are
homeward bound.
