Falmouth, the main resort of the South Cornish Riviera, has won popularity with its visitors that extends throughout the year. It boasts one of the highest average sunshine records in Britain and the gardens have a profusion of sub-tropical plants. Falmouth has a marvellous harbour with a range of boats from yachts to large ocean-going ships, overlooked by Pendennis Castle, one of Henry VIII's forts. Along the main high street there are quaint old shops standing beside famous stores, and as you walk along you will catch glimpses of the colourful harbour through the picturesque alleyways.

Wednesday
After being collected from your home, we travel to Falmouth with comfort stops as required and a main stop for lunch
before arriving late afternoon with time to relax before dinner.
Thursday
A day in Falmouth today. After your full cooked breakfast, we shall transfer you to the town quay where we have
arranged for a 2-hour river cruise charter with commentary exploring the beautiful scenery and wildlife along the Fal River.
Free time to explore the town or you may like to return to the hotel. Plenty of great pubs, cafes and restaurants to discover in
the centre of town.
Friday
A scenic tour to the very end of
Cornwall! Travelling out via Marazion,
with superb views across to St.
Michael’s Mount we continue to Land’s
End, Britain's most south-westerly
point and one of the country's most
famous landmarks. From the 200-foothigh granite cliffs that rise out of the
Atlantic Ocean you can gaze across to
the Longships Lighthouse and out
towards the Isles of Scilly, located
some 28 miles away. We return via
Penzance, the most westerly major
town in Cornwall, where there is time
to explore this attractive market town.
Saturday
Today we are immersed in the
beauty of Cornwall's west coast as we
take in the spectacular golden sands
and seascapes as we travel along the St
Ives Bay Line for a visit to picturesque
St Ives with its idyllic harbour, pretty
fishermen cottages and unique shops
and cafés.
Sunday
After breakfast we depart our
hotel, returning home in the afternoon.
Affectionately known as the Grand Old Lady of Falmouth. Dating from 1865 with its impressive Victorian architecture and spacious interiors, the hotel commands a wonderful prime seafront location and excellent sea views. Restaurant, bars, lounge, health centre with sauna, solarium & jacuzzi.
