We travel north, arriving in York
during the afternoon.

Monday

Celebrate Yorkshire’s most
famous vet as we pay a morning visit to
the World of James Herriot Museum.
Then sit back and enjoy the views as we
drive through the Yorkshire Dales to
Grassington, the beautiful Dales village
that was transformed into Darrowby
during the making of the recent series.

Tuesday

A day at leisure to enjoy and
explore this compact walled City.
Will it be the Railway Museum, the
Jorvik Viking Centre, The Shambles,
a Cruise on the Ouse or the Minster... so much choice!

Wednesday

Step back in time on a tour
of the magnificent Castle Howard.
In the afternoon enjoy a tour of the
North Yorks Moors posing for photos
by landmarks like Beggar’s Bridge and
Rosedale Abbey. and explore the lively
market town of Helmsley.

Thursday

Homeward Bound.
