famous engineering and astronomical wonder, the 150-year-old Great Telescope! Later, we continue via Limerick to Adare
and our base for the next four nights at the Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel.

Monday

Considered one of Ireland’s prettiest villages, Adare is the definition of postcard perfection. Graced with traditional
thatched roof cottages, this village is a peek into 19th Century Ireland, and contains some of the finest and rare examples of
religious and medieval history. We continue to Killaloe where we enjoy a leisurely one-hour cruise on lovely Lough Derg.

Tuesday

Our day commences with a visit to the Foynes Flying Boat Museum,
which recalls the era from 1939 to 1945 when Foynes was the centre of the
aviation world for air traffic between the US and Europe. We continue to Tarbert for
the short ferry crossing across the Shannon Estuary to Killimer and then head to
the Cliffs of Moher Visitors Experience – A centre that provides superb facilities
and panoramic views of the cliffs and Liscannor Bay.

Wednesday

Today we visit 15th century Bunratty Castle and the collection
of cottages and houses which make up the Folk Park within its grounds.
The charming 'living village' gives a fascinating insight into life in Ireland during
the 19th century.

Thursday

Departing Adare, it is ‘Not A Long Way to Tipperary’ and we soon
discover the wonder of Ireland’s
ancient east with landscapes to take
your breath away. We pause to view the
Rock of Cashel, widely regarded as one
of Ireland’s most spectacular sights.
Cashel is in the heart of the county of
Tipperary and the Rock of Cashel was
once known as St. Patrick’s Rock and
the Cashel of the Kings. The area and
rock are steeped in history dating back
to the 5th century. We continue via
Clonmel before reaching New Ross for
our final night at the Brandon House
Hotel.

Friday

Breakfast today is included on
board our return sailing to Fishguard
then we continue homeward.
