The state rooms at Buckingham Palace are of course a ‘must-see’ but this Great Break to London has so much more to offer. Buckingham Palace is recognised around the world as the home to the Royal Family, the focus of national and royal celebrations as well as the backdrop to the regular Changing the Guard ceremony. We include a trip to the magical Kew Gardens where we can discover the world of science behind the botanical collections, with over 50,000 living plants to be found across our UNESCO World Heritage site.

Sunday

We travel to Windsor Great Park with a visit to Savill Garden. At this tranquil place we can discover rare plants from around the world, arranged in stunning seasonal displays. We continue to our hotel arriving in good time for dinner and our 2-night stay.

Monday

In the morning we make our way to Kew where we admire thestunning gardens in all their summer glory and visit Kew Palace, once home to King George and his family, which stands within the grounds of Kew Gardens. It is believed to have the longest herbaceous borders in the country & possibly in the world. The Great Broad Walk Borders stretch out in a rainbow of colour for more than320 metres, offering an adventure for the senses with fresh fragrances, dazzling flower beds and feathery grasses in a joyful display that evolves with the seasons.

Tuesday

After breakfast we travel into Central London and visit Buckingham Palace, where we visit the 19 magnificent State Rooms which are used extensively by HRH the King and members of the Royal Family to receive and entertain their guests on State, ceremonial and official occasions. We return home during the late afternoon.

When you step into this hotel you will be mesmerized by the unique open plan atrium that takes its inspiration from an Italian Street scene that is full of cosy seating areas.
