Arrival and ‘Christmas Eve’
We depart from your home and travel south to Newquay.

Tuesday

Newquay and ‘Christmas Day’ Today you have the day at leisure in Newquay to enjoy the hotel festivities.

Wednesday

Bodmin Moor, Bodmin Jail and ‘Boxing Day’ This morning we drive across the imposing Bodmin Moor, stepped in history and tales of the 'Beast of Bodmin' that supposed roams the moors. We then visit Bodmin Jail, where the past comes back to life. Built in 1779 for King George III, Bodmin Jail has played an important role in Cornwall’s history and will give you a chance to delve into an intriguing hidden history.

Thursday

Today we travel north to Doc Martin country visiting the fishing village of Padstow famous for its fish restaurants. Port Isaac better known as Doc Martin’s sleepy hamlet of Portwenn.

Friday

Departure After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en-route.

The Esplanade Hotel is perfectly located in a quiet residential area at the western end of Newquay, right on top of Fistral Beach and views of Fistral Bay can be enjoyed from the front of the hotel.
