A tour featuring Royal towns, castles, gardens and picturebook scenery with a special visit to the home of Remembrance Poppies at the unique Poppy Factory. This really is a special tour to remember.

Thursday

We head for Greys Court (NT), a picturesque 16th century mansion that exudes a welcoming atmosphere, before continuing in the afternoon to our hotel for our 4-night stay.

Friday

Time to explore Kingston upon Thames before continuing in the afternoon to the wonderful Poppy Factory, where you can see how veterans still make Royal and regimental wreaths by hand today. Enjoy an afternoon tea-break with fresh cakes from the in-house bakery.

Saturday

Today we visit the Royal Horticultural Society at Wisley. Wisley can rightly claim to be one of the finest gardens in the world and is a place full of inspiration, with its spectacular floral displays, the Wild Garden, the Model Gardens and the state-of-the-art Glasshouse.

Sunday

Head to the lovely National Trust site of Runnymede and Ankerwycke this morning, the charming Thames side location that witnessed King John’s historic sealing of the Magna Carta over 800 years ago. We then board our River Cruiser sailing upstream towards wonderful Windsor.

Monday

Departing our hotel after breakfast we visit majestic Hampton Court Palace for an insight into the Royal Court of Henry VIII before returning home during the afternoon.
