Monday

To Scotland passing Stirling and its mighty castle into Perthshire, arriving at our hotel in Pitlochry during the late afternoon.

Tuesday

A leisurely morning drive to Loch Tummel and the marvellous Queens View, viewpoint. We continue to Blair Castle, home to the Dukes of Atholl for 19 generations, for a guided tour of the opulently decorated rooms displaying paintings, furniture and artefacts gathered over the years.

Wednesday

We visit the Black Watch Regimental Museum in Perth where we learn the history of the oldest Highland Regiment. We return via Aberfeldy taking time to view the magnificent Black Watch Memorial. Tonight, after dinner, we include entry to the award-winning ‘The Enchanted Forest’ – Located close to Pitlochry, we experience a sound and light show allowing you the unique opportunity to experience the outdoors at night with spectacular imagery.

Thursday

Visit Dunkeld Cathedral with its beautiful arched ruins situated in a peaceful setting close to the banks of the River Tay. Next, we continue to Scone Palace for a guided tour – one of Scotland’ most important stately homes.

Friday

Homeward bound, arriving back during the evening.
