Monday

We travel to Glamorganshire via the impressive Brecon Beacons, arriving
at our hotel in the afternoon for our 4-night stay.

Tuesday

We drive to Tenby where we join our cruise with Tenby Boat Trips.
Cruise through a notorious pirate area, Paul Jones’ Bay, and meet its modern-day
occupants – the local seals, and 1000’s of resident and visiting birds including
Puffins, Razorbills, gannets and the UK’s largest colony of Cormorants! As you sail
around the picturesque offshore islands, peer into hidden coves and gaze at sandy
shores. Please note there is no access to the boat for wheelchair users as you have
to walk across the beach to access the boat.

Wednesday

On our excursion today, discover 2000 years of stories from this
magical land of power and influence. We visit the 800-acre Dinefwr Estate.
Informally set within parklands, you will find the Grade 2 listed Newton House –
a family home for over 300 years to the descendants of Lord Rhys, the powerful
prince of the Welsh kingdom of Deheubarth. Be in awe of its original 17th century
features, including a magnificent grand staircase and ornate ceilings.

Thursday

We visit the Gower Heritage Centre. Set in the heart of countryside
within the historical surroundings of the Gower Peninsula – Step inside the 12th
century water-powered corn and sawmill, delve into the Miller’s cottage and
Blacksmith’s shop, and learn the tricks of the trade – milling, wood-turning and
blacksmithing. Gaze at the Gower’s UNESCO accredited and unmistakeable
panoramas as the coach takes a
whistle-stop tour from the heights of
Cefn Bryn and the historic “Arthur’s
Stone” to the breathtaking beauty of
Rhossili Bay beach and the Worm’s

Friday

Departing after breakfast, we are
homeward bound.
