Book Now
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is a spectacle of music, light and precision movement performed by the massed pipes and drums of the Scottish Regiments and military units from all over the world. Steep rocks form a dramatic backdrop to the Tattoos Castle setting and, when subtle lighting picks out the lone piper playing a lament from the ramparts, few in the audience fail to be moved by the atmosphere. NB Access to the Tattoo is via a steep gradient, which may be a problem for people with walking difficulties.
