Monday 11th

We head for Dover and the short
sea crossing to France, continuing to
Liege for dinner and our overnight at the
Globales Post Hotel.

Tuesday 12th

We continue to Strasbourg,
where we are welcomed on-board our
ship at 6.00pm. After comfortably settling
into your cabins, you will meet the crew over a welcome cocktail before dinner.
The ship then sails through the night to Frankfurt.

Wednesday 13th

Todays optional Excursions include a guided tour of Frankfurt and a
Panoramic tour of Frankfurt and ascent of the Main Tower. Back on board, enjoy
entertainment as our ship sails through the night.

Thursday 14th

The morning is spent cruising, before proposed Optional Excursions to
Cochem Castle or Panoramic Hiking in Cochem.

Friday 15th

In the morning, our ship will sail on the Moselle. In the afternoon, explore
the old city of Koblenz in the company of our cruise hostess. Back on board.

Saturday 16th

In the morning, our ship will sail to Rüdesheim. Join us for the optional
excursions including the small train stopping at a wine tasting cellar, followed by a
visit to the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments or Hiking through the
vineyards in Rüdesheim.

Sunday 17th

n the morning, our ship will sail towards Mannheim. Join us on an
optional excursion of Heidelberg with a visit to the castle and the old city.
Tonight is our gala dinner and evening.

Monday 18th

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking in
Strasbourg at 9.00am, where we continue by coach to Reims for dinner and
overnight accommodation at the Mercure Hotel Reims Parc des Expositions.

Tuesday 19th

To Calais and homeward bound.

The ‘Gerard Schmitter’ is a Premium 3-deck river cruise ship equipped with all the latest technology, with a capacity of 176 passengers in 88 double/twin cabins. The cabins are very spacious and tastefully decorated with the option of double or single beds. An ensuite is provided with shower, W.C. and a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the summer season the ship comes airconditioning. For your entertainment a satellite tv and radio are provided for you to use at your leisure. Amenities include Restaurant with panoramic views, lounge/bar with dance floor, large sundeck and gift shop.
