Monday

We journey to the northeast
and to our hotel base for 4-nights –
the popular Redworth Hall Hotel in
County Durham.

Tuesday

Embark on a picturesque
journey aboard the Teesside Princess
the Teesside Princess cruising through
the tranquil countryside of the River
Tees until we reach Yarm. In the
afternoon, we will stroll down a
Victorian street in Preston Park,
experiencing life as it was in 1895,
stopping by the sweet shop, toy shop,
and blacksmiths.

Wednesday

This morning, we journey
north to Beamish – the world-famous
living museum of the North. Here you
can step back in time to life in North
East England during the nineteenth
century. We continue through
Weardale, to Stanhope to enjoy a
scenic ride on the newly reopened Weardale Railway.

Thursday

A guide will join us as we
journey through railway history. We
begin with a visit to Head of Steam, a
newly restored centre commemorating
200 years since the first train set out in
1825. Next, we head to Shildon and
Locomotion – the National Railway
Experience and home to many famous
locomotives.

Friday

Homeward Bound
