Sunday
We travel to the beautiful and historic town of Windsor, delightfully located on the banks of the River Thames. There are lots of shops and history to be explored. Why not visit Windsor Castle, home to Royalty for over 900 years? This afternoon we check in to the 4* Sir Christopher Wren Hotel for our 2-night stay. Dinner tonight will be taken in a local restaurant within easy walking distance of our hotel.
Monday
After breakfast we travel to London Victoria, where we join the luxurious British Pullman train for a day trip to the historic city of Winchester.
Your Journey: On the outward journey settle into your plush seat and prepare for a delicious brunch. Your elegant table is set with crisp white linen and bespoke china and glassware. As you savour each gastronomic dish take time to admire the beautiful marquetry and art deco features surrounding you. Sit back and relax as liveried stewards take care of your every need and enjoy the ever-changing views through your picture window. Restored to their former glory, British Pullman's carriages are as famous today as in the heyday of train travel.
Upon our return to London Victoria our coach will be waiting to whisk us back to our hotel for our overnight stay.

Tuesday
Departing after breakfast we visit Oxford - The City of Dreaming Spires. Famous for its university and rich history. Attracting film makers and TV series such as 'Inspector Morse Midsomer Murders. Visit Christ Church and see the grand hall that was used in Harry Potter. Explore the remains of a medieval castle of Oxford Castle Unlocked with a costumed guide. Maybe visit the Ashmolean Museum with its world-famous collections ranging from Egyptian mummies to Rapheal drawings and contemporary art. Free time for individual pursuits before returning home during the afternoon.
This 17th-century house is between the banks of the River Thames and Windsor Castle. It is now a 4-star hotel and has free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms and an award-winning restaurant. All rooms are individually decorated in a modern style. All rooms feature a TV, a luxury private bathroom and a spacious work area, while some overlook the River Thames and Eton Bridge. Most rooms are located in the main house; there are also four historical annexes offering more private and secluded rooms. Set by the river, The Brasserie at Sir Christopher Wren has been awarded for its modern European cuisine, made using seasonal produce. Full English and continental breakfast items are served every morning.
