Saturday

We travel to the ferry port for our sailing to the Isle of Wight, arriving at our hotel in time for dinner.

Sunday

Today is free to explore our base of Shanklin at your own leisure.

Monday

This morning we head to Godshill, one of the most photographed and prettiest villages on the Island. Later, we visit the ‘capital’ of the Isle of Wight, Newport.

Tuesday

We visit Osborne House (EH), Queen Victoria’s palace by the sea.

Wednesday

Today we head to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway for a return journey onboard through the pretty countryside. From here we head to on to the seaside resort of Ryde.

Thursday

This morning we enjoy a scenic drive across the island to the historic port town of Yarmouth. Later we visit ‘The Needles’, one of the Isle of Wights most iconic sights with chalk stacks leading out to see and the lighthouse.

Friday

A day at leisure in Shanklin.

Homeward bound.

The Channel View Hotel is in a unique location occupying an elevated cliff-top position overlooking Shanklin Bay. Restaurant, bar, indoor pool, sauna & solarium.

Mobility Grade: 3. Elevated position but hotel has good accessibility for all. A few isolated steps throughout but lift to all floors.
