Thursday

We travel to magnificent Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Winston Churchill. We continue via nearby Bladon village - Churchill is buried here in the local church, before arriving late afternoon at the Hampshire Court Hotel.

Friday

We visit the Cabinet War Rooms and Churchill Museum. The Cabinet War rooms were emergency accommodation provided for Winston Churchill and the War Cabinet against air attacks in London during the Second World War.

Saturday

We are in Jane Austin Country and our first visit today takes us to The Vyne (NT), where she attended many dinner dances and social gatherings. Next, we visit the Milestones Living History Museum where you wander down cobbled streets and experience everyday life from 1810 to 1950.

Sunday

Today we visit beautiful Chartwell House (NT), Churchill’s home for most of his adult life, now a museum and the rooms and gardens remain virtually the same as when he lived there.

Monday

After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home.
