Monday

We travel south, arriving at our hotel during the early afternoon.

Tuesday

Travelling via the picturesque New Forest we visit Exbury Gardens, a spectacular woodland garden, famous for its Rothschild collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias.

Wednesday

This morning we visit Compton Acres, one of the finest privately owned gardens in the south, with a unique series of tranquil gardens offering spectacular views of Poole harbour, Brownsea Island, and the Purbeck Hills beyond. Free time to relax and enjoy Bournemouth in the afternoon.

Thursday

Today we unearth ‘Enid Blyton Country’ - Enid Blyton was one of the most successful British authors of the twentieth century. She had an extensive love affair with Dorset and the Purbecks which provided the inspiration for many of her books and characters. Discover the delights of the region for yourself as we drive via Wareham to Corfe Castle then on to lovely Swanage. Our return is via Studland and the Sandbanks Ferry.

Friday

Departing after breakfast, sadly it is homeward bound.
