Tuesday
Today is a full day to Tenby, known for a warm atmosphere and fine Victorian houses. Take time to experience the friendly harbour, relax and unwind on one of the three fantastic beaches or simply sit and people watch. For the more adventurous, why not take the 20-minute boat journey to Caldy Island, owned and run by a community of Cistercian monks. (Please note crossing times are subject to weather and are not included in our holiday price).
Wednesday
We commence the day at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. Nestled in the Tywi Valley, the garden combines themed displays, rolling parkland and secluded woodland. The award-winning Great Glasshouse is home to a profusion of rare, fragrant, exotic and even spooky plants. We continue to The Lost Gardens of Aberglasney - originally made famous by the BBC television series 'A Garden Lost in Time' which followed its restoration which began in the 1990’s. Today it is one of Wales’ finest gardens.
Thursday
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Gower Peninsula and The Mumbles, an area renowned for its sandy beaches. Visit the Gower Heritage Centre in a converted water mill where a guide will join the coach for a tour of the peninsula’s highlights before returning for a Cream Tea or Welsh Cawl and Tour of the mill.
Friday
We board our coach for our homeward journey, enjoying a scenic drive through the beautiful Wye Valley.
Located on the outskirts of Llanelli, this well presented, traditional style hotel is well maintained throughout. It has welcoming public areas and an outdoor terrace for those balmy summer evenings.
